Todos Tienen un Corazón
Who we are
Our Mission
We are working and committed 100% 365 days a year to help and support the fight against cancer. In our organization Todos tienen un corazón we have the best will to join our forces, knowledge, and experience, to achieve a better quality of life for each one of the people who are going through, or have gone through cancer.
Since our foundation began, we have held workshops, talks, and events for our community of women survivors and for all the people who want to join us in this cause. The main reason for our work, is to support, guide, and give a better quality of life to our guests making them forget for a moment to our survivors the diagnosis of cancer, we are convinced that if we had more financial, logistical, social, professional, we could support on a larger scale to many more people, offering training and emotional support to those who need it.
Our Vision
We know that there are many organizations and institutions, actively working in the fight against cancer, but the statistics are more alarming every day, and that is why our foundation wants to join this fight 24/7 and on a voluntary basis, to promote a better healthy lifestyle and help prevent cancer, providing better treatments, support to our community, which has been affected by this disease, That is why we want to implement our project “There is always someone who listens to you”, which consists of a group of people, volunteer psychologists, and social workers specialized in oncology, who will help us, to offer the service, free of charge, of emotional guidance, education, practical and financial help to people who suffer from the disease and people who care for them.
We would also like to have financial support programs for people who have finished their treatment so that they can start a business, or spend their time in an activity that keeps them focused and away from the thoughts of cancer (not stressing them out, but helping them to feel useful). In our program we would also like to have a session to assist people who have lost a family member, including U.S. citizens and non-citizens.
Faith: for me it is hope, trust and confidence that even if you don't see or feel something, you have the conviction that it will happen. And I clung to that, I believe at all times that there is a merciful God who does not abandon us. That filled me with strength and fortitude not to give up in the face of this disease.
Empathy: is to understand and understand the feelings and processes of others even if you do not live them, is to put myself in the shoes of others, is to support and help people in difficult situations.
Resilience: is the ability to adapt, to recover from extreme or risky situations. It is the ability to always give yourself second chances and to rise again like a phoenix.
Our Values
Love: is the purest and most noble feeling, where we can express the capacity that we have to give anything without expecting anything in return, when you have selfless love for others expresses our human quality when you do anything for love always have the blessing of God.
Altruism: when you put into practice empathy, love for others shows how altruistic you can be by your ability to help or support people without expecting anything in return, when you work for the collective and for them not only have the opportunity and blessing to serve but also demonstrate your human and social side that selflessly characterizes you.
